Local beetle infestations lead to tree removals

We had to remove a beautiful pine tree and wanted to share with you the before and after pictures of the process.
The tree was dead because of the borer beatle.

As you can see from the pictures, some of the actual beetles that killed this particular tree. The borer beetle and active larvae beetles lay eggs which hatch into larvae which chew through cambium layer of tree.

Think of the cambium layer as the blood vessels of the tree.
